Meet

Adrianne Waffle, DVM

Dr. Waffle’s emphasis on understanding animals for correct pathology has led to a successful career at Torch Lake Veterinary Clinic. In 2018, she first joined SonoPath for an abdominal lecture and SDEP® protocol lab, leading to her dynamic role at Torch River Veterinary Mobile. Her passion for ultrasound stems in solving pathology questions, and she actively seeks teaching moments through reviewing colleague cases, textbooks, and learning with vetfolio. Her hands-on participation at the echo and abdominal lab courses at SonoPath’s Education Center ensures Dr. Waffle’s diagnostic efficiency remains accurate and up-to-date.

Outside of her work with mobile ultrasound, Dr. Waffle enjoys kayaking, swimming, biking, skiing, and snow shoeing. When she visits your clinic, ask about her aspiration to complete the entire North Country Trail and feel free to share your favorite long-distance hiking spots with her.

SDEP® Certified Mobile Sonographer Dr. Adrianne Waffle, DVM, leads Torch River Veterinary Mobile, fueled by SonoPath. After graduating from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Waffle pursued internships at Oklahoma State University and University of Illinois Champaign/Urbana, developing a passion for internal medicine. In 2006, she established the Torch Lake Veterinary Clinic in Alden, Michigan. Dr. Waffle resides in the Alden area with her husband Billy and their five dogs: Stoney (a staffy rescue), Walter (a springer), Hoppes (a golden retriever), Boone (a golden retriever), and Goose (an incorrigible corgi – with a tail!).
